Geoffrey Williams is an experienced corporate attorney and Shareholder at SBI Counsel. His practice focuses on advising small and medium-sized businesses and investment firms on a wide range of transactional and strategic matters, including mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, corporate governance, and other complex business transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Geoffrey practiced at several global law firms, where he represented public and private companies—including private equity firms, small business investors, and government contractors—across a broad spectrum of matters involving mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, debt finance, corporate governance, financial restructuring, corporate bankruptcy, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing, and related transactions.

In addition to his legal practice, Geoffrey serves as a manager at a lower-middle-market investment firm focused on partnering with stakeholders in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. He leverages this hands-on business and investment management experience in his legal practice, providing clients with practical, commercially informed counsel aligned with their operational and strategic objectives.
